Innovative Clean Transportation Pilots Advance a More Connected, Zero-Emission Warner Center

On December 17, 2025, the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI), in partnership with the Warner Center Association, announced two clean transportation pilot projects launching in the Warner Center’s Transportation Technology Innovation Zone (TTIZ). The pilots aim to reduce vehicle congestion and expand zero-emission mobility options in the West San Fernando Valley’s growing live-work community.

The projects include an all-electric microtransit shuttle operated by Circuit and mobile EV charging robots provided by EV Safe Charge. Both companies are graduates of LACI’s incubation program. The pilots will provide low-cost, accessible transportation and charging options for residents, workers, commuters, and visitors while testing market-ready technologies for potential wider deployment.

TTIZ serves as an “innovation sandbox” supporting more than 14,000 residents and 45,000 workers in Warner Center. The pilots are part of LACI’s regional Innovation Pilots program, with lessons shared nationally through LACI’s City Climate Innovation Challenge.

The microtransit shuttle is scheduled to launch in early Q1 2026, followed by the mobile EV charging robots in early Q2 2026. Both pilots will run for an initial one-year period and are funded by the State Legislature through the Governor’s Office of Business Development (GoBiz) and the Office of Councilmember Bob Blumenfield.
